Had a fantastic time meeting some fun and friendly locals at Butt's & Betty's Tavern! The jukebox app keeps the vibe lively, with everything from Van Morrison to Wicked filling the air. Just be sure to wrap up your night before the collar-popping, Creed-on-repeat crowd makes their entrance. A highlight was the impromptu coaster-throwing game created by a charismatic regular—it added quirky, unforgettable touch to the experience. Overall, great atmosphere and great times!
An old school, local, family owned corner bar. My first impression was a good one, the staff and locals were all pleasant. Good conversation, cheap beer, and everything you'd expect from a dive bar.
Can't say enough about this place. Perfect corner bar with a cozy feel and amazing bartender. Great tunes on the jukebox and a welcoming atmosphere. Stop in and have a few next time you are in town!!!
Best bar in town. Great place to hang out and play pool. They don't serve food though just snacks and pizza.
High-quality barstools with backs and cushioned seats. Cold bottles of beer and a few taps, tin ceiling, authentic Baltimore. Comfortable in summer and not freezing cold. Great bar staff.
This place is the best! We were leaving a BARCS event with our dogs and not only did they invite us in, but demanded we bring our pups in for some drinks. Staff was super accommodating, music was great, environment was inviting. 10 out of 5 stars!
Butts & Betty's is a hillarious name I'm watching old reruns of homicide life on the streets from the 90's and butts and betty's was in it. So I jumped on google maps to see if it's still there and it is, hello to all in butts & Betty's from Ireland
We were headed to a show in town and wanted to stop for a drink and a bite to eat on our way, so we googled "dive bars near me" and came across this gem. The name piqued our curiosity, so we set the GPS and were on our way. After lapping the surrounding blocks several times, we crammed into a small street parking space about a block away and headed off on foot to Butts & Betty's. On our (very short) trek, we met some very nice neighbors with cute dogs and a pool on the sidewalk and knew before we even arrived that we were going to like this place. The bartender was friendly and quick to greet us and get us our drinks. Unfortunately, they don't serve food, so we only stayed for one round, but it was a nice dive spot to stop. The bartender recommended a decent spot a few blocks away to get food. They have welcoming regulars, a pool table, a lottery machine and scratch offs, and great tunes on the jukebox. It's definitely worth a visit!
